Susilo won't meet Anwar

JAKARTA: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will not receive
Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim during the latter's
visit here next week, presidential spokesman Dino Patti Djalal
said on Friday.

"There's no plan whatsoever from President Susilo to meet
Anwar Ibrahim. It is not on the President's schedule," Dino said,
adding that the Indonesian government was busy preparing for the
visit of Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak.

Ibrahim's trip will coincide with the visit of Razak here.

During his four-day trip to Indonesia, Ibrahim is slated to
meet Vice President Jusuf Kalla, House of Representatives Speaker
Agung Laksono, People's Consultative Assembly Speaker Hidayat Nur
Wahid and prominent political figures like Abdurrahman Wahid and
Megawati Soekarnoputri. -- JP
