Susilo, Kalla to deploy 1m witnesses

BENGKULU: Jusuf Kalla, the running mate of presidential
candidate Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, said on Tuesday his campaign
team would
deploy one million poll witnesses across the archipelago for the
July 5 presidential election.

"The poll witnesses are currently being trained in their
respective regions and they are ready to be deployed to poll
stations nationwide on July 5," said Kalla while campaigning in
Bengkulu.

The presence of witnesses will be crucial for preventing poll
