Suri Nusantara Ensures Sufficient Beef Stock Ahead of Ramadan
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - PT Suri Nusantara Jaya (SNJ), a company supplying animal protein in Indonesia, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national food security. The meat distributor is ensuring beef and buffalo meat stocks in sufficient quantities to meet the surge in demand up to Eid al-Fitr.
Aldi Imam Wibowo, Director of Business Development at PT Suri Nusantara Jaya (SNJ), said that price dynamics in food have become a principal concern for the government and consumers ahead of Eid. As part of industry responsibility, SNJ has undertaken stock-mitigation measures since the start of the year to anticipate price fluctuations in traditional markets as well as in modern retail.
The products highlighted during this period are fresh and frozen beef (Secondary Cut), which are the main ingredients for Ramadan dishes such as rendang and semur.
He emphasised that Suri Nusantara guarantees that all products distributed via the Nusantara Meat Store network and retail partners uphold international quality standards with prices competitive for the wider public and with Halal assurance.
‘Our mission this Ramadan is to ensure that no Indonesian family struggles to access quality protein simply because of price or stock shortages,’ he said, quoted on Thursday (5 March 2026).
To ensure smooth distribution, SNJ is optimising its cold storage network and integrated logistics fleet to maintain the freshness of the meat until it reaches the consumer.
‘With this infrastructure readiness, SNJ is committed to maintaining supply stability at all distribution points, while supporting the government’s efforts to curb food inflation during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr,’ he concluded.
