Surge in SOE Profits Proof of National Economic Transformation and Danantara's Effective Leadership

The transformation carried out by the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) under the leadership of CEO Rosan P. Roeslani is beginning to show tangible results. A number of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) recorded a significant surge in performance throughout the 2025 fiscal year, with several companies even managing to turn around from a loss-making position to profitability. This achievement received appreciation from the Deputy Chairman of the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI), Rusdi Ali Hanafia. According to him, this accomplishment is proof that the transformation steps, strengthening of governance, and restructuring carried out by Danantara are on the right track. “We see that Danantara under the leadership of Mr. Rosan P. Roeslani has shown a clear direction in strengthening national investment and accelerating economic growth. This deserves appreciation because the results are starting to become visible,” said Rusdi, who also serves as Chairman of the Seknas Indonesia Maju, in Jakarta on Monday (29/06/2026). Rusdi added that the improved performance of several SOEs demonstrates that state asset management is being conducted more professionally, efficiently, and with an orientation towards creating added value for the nation. The results of this transformation are considered increasingly measurable, transparent, and results-oriented. He emphasised that this success is not just a figure on paper, but an indicator of the increasing productivity and competitiveness of SOEs. The positive impact will be felt directly by the public through increased investment, job creation, and a greater contribution to state revenue. “The leadership of Rosan Roeslani brings a new spirit by prioritising the principles of professionalism, transparency, and accountability. The synergy between the government, SOEs, and Danantara is an important foundation for national economic independence amidst global uncertainty,” he stressed. As a youth figure, Rusdi also invited the younger generation not to be mere spectators, but to actively participate in this major stream of economic development through innovation and the development of national industries. “If SOEs are strong, investment is strong, and young people join the movement, then Indonesia’s aspiration to become a developed and sovereign nation is no longer just a discourse, but a certainty,” concluded Rusdi.
