Bogor Mayor Dedie A. Rachim stated that there has been a surge in users of the Transjakarta P11 route in Bogor City, West Java. After meeting with Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo on Monday (4/5/2026) in Jakarta, Dedie revealed that the fleet for the P11 route has been expanded to 32 buses. “We discussed first regarding the Transjakarta P11; initially, the P11 Transjakarta had about 10 or 11 buses, now it’s 32 buses,” said Dedie in Batutulis on Thursday (7/5/2026). The reason, he continued, is that the Bogor Line train is very crowded, making the Transjakarta P11 route an alternative public transportation option. “Because it’s already full since the Bogor Line is extremely crowded, so they can choose an alternative, which is P11,” he said. “Especially because the seating configuration is sideways, the speed is limited to only 50 km per hour. Well, if there’s an alternative type of bus that perhaps has forward-facing seats later, it could be faster,” he added.
