Surabaya Spa Therapist Accused of Draining Rp1.2 Billion from Client's Account

Nur Hasannah Prasetya, a therapist at Surabaya’s Spa Superior, faces trial for allegedly siphoning Rp1.2 billion from Tonny Soegiono’s bank account. Prosecutor Hasanudin Tandilolo stated that Tonny was a client, not a colleague, and their relationship extended beyond professional boundaries. ‘He was a long-term spa client. Whether they were dating or not, Tonny was a regular,’ Hasanudin said. Tandilolo added that Nur carried out the theft gradually between August and September 2024, while her associate Putriana Kusuma Wardani did not participate in the theft but received transfers and benefited from the funds. ‘Nur acted alone but transferred money to her friend Putriana Kusuma Wardani’s account, splitting the proceeds,’ he explained.
