Surabaya Printing Expo 2026 Targets 15,000 Visitors
The printing industry in East Java continues to develop alongside the growth of the manufacturing sector, the packaging industry, and the creative economy in Eastern Indonesia. To support this progress, Krista Exhibitions is once again presenting the Surabaya Printing Expo (SPE) 2026, an exhibition for the printing industry taking place from 8-11 July 2026 at the Grand City Convention Center, Surabaya. Now in its 19th edition, the exhibition will showcase various technological innovations, machinery, equipment, materials, and the latest printing solutions from industry players both domestic and international. Its presence is expected to serve as a platform bringing together producers, distributors, business actors, designers, and industry professionals to expand business networks, accelerate technology adoption, and drive the growth of the national printing industry, particularly in Eastern Indonesia. CEO of Krista Exhibitions, Daud D. Salim, stated that the organisation of SPE 2026 is a strategic moment for industry players to introduce the latest developments in printing technology while expanding collaboration opportunities. This year, the exhibition will feature more than 150 participants, including 10 MSMEs, with a target of 15,000 visitors over the four-day event. Visitors will be able to see first-hand various modern printing technologies, from digital printing, offset printing, 3D printing, and UV printing, to increasingly sophisticated, fast, and efficient web-based printing systems. In addition to presenting an exhibition of superior technology and products, the organisers have also prepared various seminars and workshops involving industry practitioners, academics, and business actors. One workshop, titled ‘From Idea to Merchandise: A Workshop on Utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Creative Merchandise Design’, will discuss the use of AI in the design process. There will also be a seminar on ‘Strategies for MSMEs to Level Up Through Creative Business & Product Packaging’, which will review strategies for strengthening branding and packaging development to enhance MSME competitiveness. The Surabaya Printing Expo 2026 has received support from various ministries, associations, and institutions, including the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the East Java Provincial Government, the Surabaya City Government, the East Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), the Indonesian Graphic Companies Association (PPGI), and the Indonesian Exhibition Companies Association (ASPERAPI). This support is expected to further strengthen the exhibition’s position as a strategic event for the development of the national printing industry. Visitors can register online through the organiser’s official website or directly at the exhibition venue, which will be open from 10.00 to 19.00 WIB.
