Surabaya Imsakiyah Schedule 8 March 2026: Imsak, Fajr, Iftar

Below is the imsakiyah schedule and prayer times for the city of Surabaya and its environs on Sunday, 8 March 2026, coinciding with 18 Ramadan 1447 H.

Before commencing the fast, Muslims are required to make the niat. The following is the recitation:

نَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ غَدٍ عَنْ أَدَاءِ فَرْضِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ لِلّٰهِ تَعَالَى

“Nawaitu shauma ghadin ’an ada’i fardhi syahri Ramadhana hadzihis sanati lillahi ta’ala.”

Meaning: “I intend to fast tomorrow to fulfil the obligation of fasting the month of Ramadan this year, for Allah Ta’ala.”

Imsak time in Indonesia is generally set ten minutes before the call to prayer for Subuh (dawn) as a precaution (ihtiyat) so that Muslims can complete sahur and cleanse themselves before the fasting period officially begins at dawn (Subuh).
