Supporting Vocational Education, Daihatsu Receives Award from East Java Provincial Government
JAKARTA - PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) received the Silver Jer Basuki Mowo Beyo Badge from the East Java Provincial Government on the occasion of the 2026 National Education Day commemoration. The award was given as appreciation for ADM’s contributions to supporting the development of vocational education and improving the quality of human resources (HR) in East Java. The Silver Jer Basuki Mowo Beyo Badge is the highest award from the East Java Provincial Government, given to individuals or institutions for their dedication, contributions, and achievements in supporting regional development, including in the education sector. “This achievement is the result of collaboration and commitment from various parties, including ADM’s internal teams who actively assist in developing supported vocational high schools (SMK) and open up industry learning opportunities for students through various educational programmes and industry visits,” said Arie in an official statement on Friday (8/5/2026). Meanwhile, East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa stated the importance of education that is not only oriented towards academic achievements but also the formation of character and integrity in the young generation. “We need education that not only chases achievements but also builds character, integrity, and human values,” said Khofifah. ADM hopes that collaboration between industry, government, and educational institutions can continue to be strengthened to create a vocational education ecosystem that is relevant to future industry needs, while producing superior, competent, and integrity-driven human resources.
