PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) held PTK Goes to Campus (PGTC) at two vocational maritime universities in Makassar on Tuesday and Wednesday, 28-29 April 2026. PGTC is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, as well as PTK’s commitment to supporting young talent in the maritime field.

“This event is also part of PTK’s CSR to help Indonesian seafarers become more competitive globally,” explained the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental, Subagjo H Moeljanto, who, along with the Board of Commissioners, carries out a supervisory role over the programme, quoted on Thursday, 30 April 2026.

One of the PGTC activities took place at Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Makassar on Tuesday (28/4). In front of 800 cadets, PTK speakers Captain Costantinus Fatlolon and Captain Sofyani Faisol shared knowledge about aspects of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) in shipping, as well as an overview of the global maritime industry.

PGTC was also held at Politeknik Pelayaran Barombong, Makassar, on Wednesday (29/4).

“Digitalisation in the maritime industry today has developed significantly. Seafarers must continue to develop their knowledge, not just to standard levels but even higher to keep up with the times and digital technology,” explained PTK Commissioner Hartanto.

In addition to the public lectures, PTK also inaugurated support for the development of cadets’ knowledge with the ‘Pojok LiteraSea’ facility, a digital learning resource, at PIP Makassar.

The inauguration was carried out by PTK’s Director of Operations, Yudi Wibisono, and the Director of PIP Makassar, Captain Rudi Susanto. Also present at the inauguration event, while conducting a working visit to the area of PTK’s business operations in Makassar, was Chairman of the Board of Commissioners Subagjo H Moeljanto.
