Rakyatmerdekanews.co.id, Tangerang, 25 February 2026 – PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (IKPP) Tangerang Mills, a business unit of APP Group, has once again implemented a Quran donation programme to support the provision of Qurans in Indonesia.
The activity was carried out together with the Mayor of Tangerang, Sachrudin, at the Tangerang City Hall.
The symbolic handover of the Quran copies was carried out by the Director of PT IKPP, Yan Partawidjaja, together with the Vice Director of APP Group, Irsyal Yasman, to the Mayor of Tangerang.
This programme is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility based on spiritual values.
A total of 1,500 Quran copies will be donated to the Greater Tangerang area. The copies will be distributed to mosques and prayer rooms to strengthen community access to decent and quality religious facilities.
“This Quran donation is not only a physical aid, but also an important investment in building the character of the younger generation, strengthening Quran literacy, and bringing people closer to religious values.
Hopefully, each Quran distributed will be a source of blessings, guiding the younger generation and strengthening our bonds as a religious and virtuous community,” said the Mayor of Tangerang, Sachrudin.
The Vice Director of APP Group, Irsyal Yasman, affirmed that the Quran donation is a manifestation of the company’s consistency in integrating social contributions with spiritual values.
“Through this donation programme, we want to ensure real support in meeting the need for Qurans in Indonesia. We hope that the donated copies can be used optimally by the community and become part of the ongoing strengthening of good values,” he said.
He added that the donated copies were printed using special Quran paper produced in domestic manufacturing facilities by APP Group with high-quality standards.
This also reflects the capability of the national industry in providing quality products for religious texts and books.
Since 2008, more than 1.4 million Quran copies have been donated through the support of APP Group together with other Sinar Mas business pillars.
The distribution is carried out in collaboration with religious institutions, educational entities, communities, and even TNI-Polri units in various regions, including the outermost regions of Indonesia. (Ratna)
