The Jogja Printing Expo 2026 has officially opened, taking place from 8 April 2026 to 11 April 2026 at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC) in Yogyakarta. The event is intended to support the printing industry in Yogyakarta and Indonesia.

Organised for the second time by Krista Exhibitions Group, the exhibition serves as a strategic platform for graphic industry players to showcase the latest technological developments, expand business networks, and strengthen the growth of the national printing sector,” said CEO of Krista Exhibitions, Daud D. Salim, in a written statement on Wednesday (8/4/2026).

“The presence of this exhibition not only affirms Yogyakarta’s role as a potential hub for the graphic industry but also encourages cross-sector collaborations that are increasingly relevant to the needs of modern industry,” he added.

Daud D. Salim stated that the organisation of the Jogja Printing Expo 2026 is an effort by Krista Exhibitions to advance the national printing industry by bringing the latest technologies closer to creative players, SMEs, and potential markets in Yogyakarta. He explained that the exhibition is designed as a strategic platform to strengthen business connections, expand knowledge exchange, and introduce technological innovations relevant to current industry needs.

“We hope that the synergies built at the Jogja Printing Expo 2026 can make a real contribution to sustainably enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesia’s printing industry,” he said.

He explained that the Jogja Printing Expo 2026 features 35 participants, including 15 SMEs, displaying a range of leading printing technologies. The innovations on show include high-resolution digital printing machines with more precise colour reproduction capabilities, stable quality consistency, and increasingly optimal ink usage efficiency.

“The displayed CMYK+ technology also provides an apt solution for commercial printing needs, photography, and the production of premium packaging that continues to grow,” he said.

He elaborated that printing machine manufacturers are showcasing modern offset, rotogravure, and flexo machines. These technologies are equipped with automation systems, digital ink adjustment, low energy consumption, and IoT integration for real-time production monitoring and control.

“Several participants are presenting UV-curing and hybrid printing technologies that enable printing on various media, including acrylic, glass, aluminium, wood, and textured materials. These solutions support the enhancement of personalisation services, which is now a trend in the creative market and SMEs,” he clarified.

He stated that the exhibition displays a range of high-speed digital label machines, high-precision flexo printers, and finishing technologies such as embossing, hot stamping, cold foil, and holographic effects. This is aimed at increasing the visual value and branding appeal of products.

Participants are also presenting finishing solutions such as glossy and matte lamination machines, automatic die-cutting, and commercial binding machines. According to him, these machines are needed to add value to printed products.

“In line with global sustainability trends, several participants are introducing water-based inks, recyclable materials, and low-electricity machines to support a more environmentally friendly printing industry,” he added.

He mentioned that the Jogja Printing Expo 2026 is being held concurrently with the Jogja Food & Beverage Expo, Jogja Pack & Process Expo, and Jogja All Tea Expo 2026. The presence of these four exhibitions in one location strengthens integration between industrial sectors, particularly printing, packaging, and food and beverage, and opens up broader cross-sector collaboration opportunities.

The Business Matching programme returns as one of the main agendas and is designed to connect participants with investors, distributors, and technology providers that are directly relevant to industry needs. Through these curated meetings, business actors are expected to forge new partnerships and effectively expand their business networks.

“The success of the Jogja Printing Expo 2026 would not be possible without the support of the Yogyakarta Special Region Provincial Government, Yogyakarta City Government, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Trade, Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Indonesia, KADIN Yogyakarta Special Region, Indonesian Graphic Companies Association (PPGI), Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI), Indonesian Retail Entrepreneurs Association (APRINDO), Jogja Chinese Art & Culture Center (JCACC), and Indonesian Chinese Clan Social Association (PSMTI),” he concluded.
