Supporting the Creative Industry, JNE Becomes Logistics Partner for Let Them Eat Art
JNE has officially become the Official Logistics Partner for the creative event titled ‘Let Them Eat Art’, initiated by LQID Creative Space and Weirdough Bakehouse. The event embodies the spirit of strengthening the local Intellectual Property (IP) ecosystem by opening wider opportunities for artists to introduce their works, while encouraging the integration of creative outputs into the hospitality, F&B, and storytelling-based tourism industries.
The exhibition, which combines visual arts, culture, and culinary exploration, takes place from 13 April to 8 May 2026 at Sudirman 7.8, Central Jakarta.
The series of events also includes several programmes, among them Halal Bihal-Art on 16 April 2026 and Kartini & Keju on 22 April 2026. Additionally, there is a special performance by Sandhy Sondoro Unplugged on 20 April 2026, which the public can enjoy while sampling a free tasting session of pastries from Weirdough. The presence of these various elements is expected to deliver a multisensory experience that is not only visible but can also be directly enjoyed as part of modern lifestyle.
In this collaboration, Weirdough Bakehouse presents a pop-up bakery in the LQID Creative Space area, highlighting the concept of Art Through Gastronomy. This concept features interpretations of flavours and forms in curated pastries as works of art. The collaboration is said not only to enrich visitors’ experiences but also to demonstrate the potential of local creativity to become part of innovative hospitality products, adding value to Indonesia’s tourism industry.
Marcia, representing the Let Them Eat Art activation, appreciated the synergy. According to her, the presence of reliable delivery services is greatly needed by the hospitality and artisan industries to maintain product quality until it reaches customers’ hands.
“‘Let Them Eat Art’ is not just an exhibition, but a collaborative space that connects local artists with major industries to open new opportunities for Indonesia’s creative IP,” said Marcia in a written statement on Friday (17/4/2026).
As a form of support for the creative industry, JNE provides various delivery service conveniences during the event. Through instant and same-day delivery services from Roket Indonesia, visitors can enjoy free shipping facilities as well as Rp1 shipping vouchers by downloading the app and following the Instagram account @Roket_Indonesia. Additionally, the PESONA (Pesanan Oleh-oleh Nusantara) service is also offered to facilitate the public in obtaining selected products from Weirdough and Sajiin at special prices.
Visitors who register for the JNE Loyalty Card (JLC) will also receive special products from Weirdough and Sajiin as a token of appreciation.
Meanwhile, SVP Marketing Group Head of JNE, Eri Palgunadi, stated that JNE is enthusiastic about being involved in the collaboration because it aligns with the company’s commitment to providing the best service to customers. According to him, this initiative is relevant as it combines art, culture, and cuisine into an emotional experience for the public.
JNE also emphasises the role of logistics as an enabler in the creative ecosystem, helping local works reach wider markets while bringing added value and positive impact in line with the spirit of Connecting Happiness.
