Supporting Student Creativity, Pertamina Organises the Energy AdSport Challenge
PT Pertamina (Persero) consistently provides support for the younger generation by offering positive, inclusive spaces. This support is realised through the Pertamina Goes to Campus (PGTC) 2026 programme, in the form of the regional competition Energy AdSport Challenge (EAC), held on 19-20 May 2026 at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
This programme is designed as a platform for students to develop their potential, strengthen collaboration, and channel positive energy through sports and digital creativity competitions. The presence of the Energy AdSport Challenge is hoped to be an energising oasis that inspires students as future energy leaders to remain productive and creative.
Muhammad Baron, Vice President for Corporate Communications at PT Pertamina (Persero), said that PGTC 2026 aims to provide space for students to develop not only academically but also to channel their creativity and sporting energy, while fostering a spirit of collaboration.
“Not only ideation and innovation-based competitions, PGTC 2026 also evolves by presenting a platform for students in creativity and sport through Energy AdSport Challenge,” Baron said in a statement on Thursday (21 May 2026).
In the sports category, a total of 51 teams from 19 universities in West Java and Jabodetabek will compete in two disciplines: mini soccer and 3x3 basketball.
Beyond that, PGTC 2026 also provides a platform for creativity through the Social Media Activation and Advertising Competition, challenging students to develop innovative digital communication campaigns that are relevant to the media platforms used by the younger generation.
The PGTC 2026 kick-off will take place on 21 May 2026, featuring a range of inspirational activities such as Energizing Talk, Innovation Cluster Exhibition, the open-call national competition Energy Debate Championship (EDC) and Energynovation Ideas Competition (EIC), as well as various other interactive activities.
