Supporting Strategic Projects, WIKA Books Rp 6.91 T in New Contracts
PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) booked new contracts worth Rp 6.91 trillion up to June 2026. The achievement was driven by strategic projects in the construction support industry, infrastructure, building, and energy security sectors. This milestone reflects the sustainability of the company’s transformation and the continued trust from the government, state-owned enterprises, and the private sector in WIKA’s capability to execute strategic national projects. The composition of WIKA’s new contracts up to June 2026 was dominated by the construction support industry sector at Rp 2.25 trillion, or approximately 32.6% of the total. This was followed by the infrastructure and building sector at Rp 2.24 trillion (32.4%), the energy and industrial plant sector at Rp 2.10 trillion (30.4%), the property sector at Rp 197.86 billion (2.9%), and investment at Rp 124.63 billion (1.8%). The new contracts originated from government, state-owned enterprise, and private sector projects covering transport infrastructure, water resources, buildings, energy, and industrial facilities. One strategic project secured in June 2026 was the Cisumdawu Toll Road Slope 9-10 Landslide Handling and Alignment Improvement at KM 177-KM 178, with a contract value of Rp 294.54 billion. This project is a long-term effort to address land movement on the Cisumdawu Toll Road, particularly in the area from KM 177 Bojongtotor to KM 178 Mulyasari, which has been identified as a priority point due to ground movement. The scope of work includes borepile construction, mainroad reconstruction, and the construction of a chuteway as a water drainage system to improve slope stability. Work will be carried out from 9 July 2026 to 3 March 2027. Through borepile reinforcement on Slope 9 and mainroad reconstruction, the project is expected to improve safety and comfort for road users traversing the Cisumdawu Toll Road. The project will also involve local workers and provide an economic impact for the surrounding community through involvement in construction work and supporting subcontractors. WIKA Corporate Secretary Ngatemin stated that the new contract achievement up to June 2026 demonstrates sustained trust in the company and serves as proof that the ongoing transformation is strengthening WIKA’s competitiveness and business quality. ‘This new contract acquisition shows the continued trust in WIKA to work on strategic projects. The company will continue to prioritise the principle of selectivity in obtaining projects, focusing on those with monthly payment schemes and providing added value, to ensure every job is completed with the right quality, on time, and on budget,’ he said. ‘Through these steps, WIKA is optimistic it can continue to support the strengthening of connectivity, improve infrastructure safety, and make a real contribution to sustainable national development,’ Ngatemin added. He noted that WIKA will continue to strengthen the implementation of business transformation by improving the quality of its project portfolio, enforcing more disciplined risk management, and applying good governance to create healthy and sustainable business growth.
