Supporting Quality Education, Generasi Emas Institute Initiates 3T School Inventory Programme

JAKARTA – The Generasi Emas Institute continues to develop ideas for programmes that can assist and support the work of the government, particularly in the education sector. Founder of the Generasi Emas Institute, Pangeran Mangkubumi, described education as an investment in the nation’s civilisation.

He said it is therefore important to ensure that all students and teaching staff across Indonesia receive equal educational rights and facilities, especially schools located in 3T regions (disadvantaged, frontier and outermost).

“We are proposing the 3T School Inventory Programme, under which we will map which schools in Indonesia fall into the 3T category. The results of our research will then be addressed through a pentahelix collaboration scheme. In our view, building Indonesia must be a shared responsibility,” Pangeran said in a press release in Jakarta on Tuesday (4/8/2026).

According to Pangeran, the Generasi Emas Institute’s idea to conduct an inventory of 3T schools and pursue pentahelix collaboration was supported by participants of a focus group discussion (FGD) held in Malang, East Java, on Monday (3/8/2026). The FGD, attended by various groups, carried the theme ‘Demographic Bonus and the Future of Indonesian Democracy’.
