Jakarta – PT Indonesia Fintopia Technology (Easycash) President Director Nucky Poedjiardjo stated that expanding inclusive financial access will be one of the company’s main focuses. He noted that the presence of digital financial services, including online lending (pindar), can serve as a solution to bridge the credit access gap while supporting the agenda of accelerating financial inclusion and national economic growth. “Amid the still substantial need for credit access, the expansion of funding access must go hand in hand with the implementation of good corporate governance,” Nucky said in a statement on Friday, 19 June 2026. He therefore stressed that Easycash is committed to continuously strengthening the implementation of good corporate governance, risk management, and consumer protection. “As the foundation for providing broad funding access for the public,” he said. Nucky added that the company’s focus on expanding funding access is reflected in the growing disbursement of funds year on year. Since its establishment in 2017, Easycash, as a licensed and OJK-supervised online lending platform, has disbursed funding to more than 10 million borrowers. “With a total accumulated loan value reaching Rp 96.67 trillion,” Nucky said. Currently, access to financial services remains a challenge for some Indonesians. Amid rising funding needs, there are still community groups not yet fully integrated into the formal financial system, thus facing limitations in obtaining credit access. “This condition indicates there is still considerable room to expand financial inclusion to support economic activity and improve public welfare,” he stated. Referring to the White Paper by the Indonesian Fintech Association (AFTECH) and Mandala Consulting titled “Mendorong Perluasan Akses Kredit melalui Kolaborasi Bertanggung Jawab antara Bank dan Pindar”, access to formal financial services remains a challenge for some Indonesians. World Bank data shows approximately 48 percent of Indonesia’s adult population is still categorised as underbanked. Meanwhile, the Financial Services Authority’s (OJK) National Survey on Financial Literacy and Inclusion (SNLIK) recorded that banking financial inclusion reached only around 70 percent in 2025. “This means around 30 percent of Indonesia’s adult population is still not optimally served by formal financial services, or is financially excluded,” he said.
