The Ministry of Social Affairs has officially formed the Tim Percepatan Pembangunan Sekolah Rakyat (TP2SR) to accelerate the construction of 61 permanent pilot Sekolah Rakyat sites not yet accommodated within the Ministry of Public Works’ construction quota.

PT Nindya Karya (Persero), as a state-owned construction company, has confirmed its contribution to accelerating the construction of Sekolah Rakyat in support of the government’s national strategic project (PSN) to expand access to quality education.

President Director of PT Nindya Karya (Persero), Firmansyah, said the Sekolah Rakyat project is being executed swiftly so that the facilities can be used immediately to support teaching and learning activities. Nindya Karya has also ensured monitoring and evaluation processes by implementing Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) and integrating the procurement of materials, labour and equipment usage.

Nindya Karya has currently been tasked with building Sekolah Rakyat at 20 locations, all of which are now 100% complete. The schools have already begun the Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS) school orientation period, with an average of 300 student beneficiaries per school.

In addition, Nindya Karya is also completing water and environmental infrastructure projects, including the Jatiluhur Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) and the Dam-Serpong Water Conveyance System (KSCS) Package 3. The challenges of these projects relate to land acquisition and resolving social issues with local communities.
