PT Pertamina EP (Pertamina EP) signed a Gas Sales and Purchase Agreement (PJBG) with PT Cikarang Listrindo on Wednesday, 20 May, as part of the Indonesia Petroleum Association Convention & Exhibition (IPA Convex) 50th anniversary year 2026 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, South Tangerang.

The gas sale and purchase agreement, valid until 16 September 2035, will support meeting the industrial needs of the West Java region. Gas supply from Pertamina EP’s Working Area originates from Akasia Bagus Field, Jatibarang Field, with a total volume of 20 billion standard cubic feet (BSCF).

On the same occasion, Pertamina EP also signed a Gas Sales and Purchase Agreement with PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) to support oil and gas production and operations in the Rokan Working Area, in Riau Province. This PJBG is valid until 31 December 2030, with a total volume of 35 trillion British Thermal Units (TBtu).

Present at the signing were the President Director of Pertamina EP, Rachmat Hidajat; the Director of PT Cikarang Listrindo, Yudho Pratikto; and the President Director of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan, Muhamad Arifin.

The collaboration between Pertamina EP and Cikarang Listrindo represents a strategic step in ensuring reliable and sustainable energy supply for the national industrial sector, particularly in West Java. “This long-term agreement is expected to provide energy supply certainty and positively contribute to the competitiveness of West Java’s industry, as well as support local economic growth,” said Rachmat Hidajat, President Director of Pertamina EP.

Through these two gas sale agreements, the Company ensures the state’s share of gas sales from Pertamina EP’s Working Areas in Java and Sumatra, and strengthens national energy resilience and sovereignty. (H-2)
