Supporting DKI Jakarta's Free Homecoming 2026, TransJakarta Provides 10 AKAP Buses
PT Transportasi Jakarta (TransJakarta) is supporting the Free Homecoming Programme 2026 organised by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. TransJakarta is providing 10 bus units for residents wishing to return to their hometowns. This support forms part of TransJakarta’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, demonstrating the company’s concern for supporting community mobility, particularly during Eid al-Fitr, while strengthening the role of public transportation in delivering tangible benefits to the public. This year’s Free Homecoming Programme 2026 was participated in by 35,012 passengers with the support of a total of 744 bus fleets, reflecting the high enthusiasm of the public towards the annual programme of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. The President Director of PT Transportasi Jakarta, Welfizon Yuza, stated that this participation is part of the company’s commitment to being closer to the community. “Through this CSR programme, we want to be closer to the community, especially during the Lebaran moment. We hope this support can help residents return to their hometowns more calmly, safely, and full of happiness,” said Welfizon in a written statement on Wednesday (18/3/2026). TransJakarta is distributing its aid units to six strategic cities with the following details: Solo 2 units, Wonogiri 2 units, Pekalongan 2 units, Sragen 2 units, Tegal 1 unit, and Yogyakarta 1 unit. Through this CSR programme, TransJakarta hopes to continue contributing to providing public transportation services that are not only reliable but also deliver broad social impacts to the community, particularly during important moments like Lebaran.
