Supporting 100 GW Solar Programme, NTB Prepares 30 Power Plant Locations

The West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government, through PT PLN (Persero), is preparing a scheme to convert fossil fuel-based power plants into Solar Power Plants (PLTS) across 30 different locations. This conversion of electricity production is being prepared to tap into a potential energy capacity of 1.7 gigawatts in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). This move is intended to achieve energy independence and facilitate a clean energy transition as part of the national 100-gigawatt solar power plant mega-project programme.
