PaDi UMKM, the digital procurement platform owned by PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), held the PaDi Business Forum & Showcase (PBFS) 2026 at PLN Central Auditorium in South Jakarta on Monday, 6 May 2026. The event was attended by Danantara Asset Management, the Indonesian Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM), SOE Supervisory Board, over 50 state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and SMEs from various industries. Titled ‘Fostering Collaboration, Driving Investment, and Accelerating National Business Growth’, PBFS 2026 serves as a strategic opportunity to strengthen SOE and SME synergy through an inclusive, transparent, and sustainable digital procurement ecosystem. Unlike previous years, the PBFS 2026 series will run for six months from May to December 2026, featuring collaborative programmes such as PaDi Talks, Vendor Connect, and Business Matching. All these initiatives are part of PaDi UMKM’s transformation under the #PengadaanLebihTenang commitment, ensuring a safer, connected, and certain procurement experience for businesses within the digital ecosystem. The event also featured two talk sessions: ‘Strengthening the National Supply Chain: Import Substitution Strategies and Local Product Optimization via PaDi UMKM’s Lightning Tender’ and ‘Eco-Friendly Procurement: Turning Waste into Corporate Strategic Value’. These sessions addressed strengthening local products, procurement digitalisation, and implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in sustainable business processes. During his address, Senior Director and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of PT Danantara Asset Management (Persero), Dendi T. Danianto, emphasised the importance of brand positioning to build customer experience and trust. ‘Strengthening brand positioning is crucial. Rebranding is not just about visual changes but creating a brand experience that builds customer perception and trust. Experience drives brand perception, not just a campaign. Therefore, PaDi UMKM’s transformation under the #PengadaanLebihTenang tagline must have clear objectives relevant to customer needs. When discussing SOE digital procurement, PaDi UMKM must be top of mind,’ Dendi said. Meanwhile, Telkom’s IT Digital Director, Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi, reaffirmed Telkom’s commitment through PaDi UMKM to provide a secure digital procurement platform aligned with Good Corporate Governance principles.
