Support for Toll Road Integration Towards Palembang New Port in Tanjung Carat
Hutama Karya (Persero) together with the Ministry of Investment and Hilirisasi (BKPM), the Ministry of Public Works, the South Sumatra Provincial Government, Danantara Asset Management, PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk, and PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) held a Memorandum of Understanding on the Plan for Cooperation for the Integrated Development of a Toll Road to Palembang New Port in Tanjung Carat, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. The signing took place on Wednesday, 13 May, at the Barli Halim Building, BKPM, Jakarta. It was signed by the Director General of Bina Marga, represented by the Acting Director for Toll Roads under the Ministry of Public Works, Prabandityo Triwibowo; Deputy for Investment Planning of the Ministry of Investment and Hilirisasi/BKPM, Ichsan Zulkarnaen; Secretary of the South Sumatra Province, Edward Candra; Hutama Karya Operations Director I, Gunadi; Director of Downstreaming and Product Diversification at PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), Turino Yulianto; and Director of Business Development of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), Prasetyo. The signing was witnessed by the Deputy Minister of Investment and Hilirisasi/Deputy Head of BKPM, Todotua Pasaribu; Managing Director, Business 3 at Danantara Asset Management, Febriany Eddy; and President Director of Hutama Karya, Koentjoro. The cross-institutional attendance underscores a shared commitment to strengthen logistics connectivity, support downstreaming, and accelerate the development of Palembang New Port in Tanjung Carat.”
