Support for Cianjur DPRD Chair Strengthens Ahead of Golkar Regional Conference
Support for Metty Triantika is strengthening ahead of the Golkar Party’s Regional Conference (Musda) in Cianjur Regency. A total of 24 out of 32 sub-district executive boards (PK) have endorsed the Cianjur Regency DPRD chair to continue her leadership for the 2026-2031 period.
The backing for the deputy chair of the West Java Golkar Regional Leadership Council (DPD) was declared at the Rossier Cafe Saung Nikmat meeting hall in Cianjur on Thursday (2/7/2026). The chairs and secretaries of the Golkar Party sub-district boards, along with several party elders, attended the event.
Muhamad Irfan Toyalisi, a representative of the Golkar Party Youth Force (AMPG) of Cianjur Regency, together with Rio Anggun Candra, Chair of the Golkar Party Sub-district Board for Kadupandak, declared their support for Metty Triantika. They assessed that this female figure within Golkar possesses integrity, organisational experience, leadership capacity, and a strong track record.
The declaration moment was directly witnessed by a Notary and Land Deed Official (PPAT) to reinforce the administrative validity of the support given. In her speech, Metty Triantika expressed gratitude and appreciation for the trust placed in her by the cadres.
Metty stated that this support represents a significant mandate that must be answered with tangible work to grow the Golkar Party. If re-elected, she pledged to build a party that is more solid, more modern, more open, and closer to the community.
“I would like to thank the extended family of the Golkar Party for their trust. This support is a mandate that I must account for with hard work, dedication, and togetherness,” she said.
She stated she would lead Golkar with a leadership style that does not create internal political divisions, but rather fosters unity. Additionally, she plans to strengthen organisational consolidation down to the village level.
“Golkar must become a big home for everyone. There will be no more factional differences after the Musda concludes. What will exist is a shared spirit to grow the party,” she said.
Looking ahead, Metty said the challenge is to restore public trust through concrete actions, community service, and strengthening the organisation down to the grassroots.
