Supplying Hundreds of Thousands of Chickens, PT Berdikari Commits to Supporting Animal Protein Fulfilment at People's Bazaar

The people’s bazaar event, accompanied by the distribution of 100,000 food aid packages by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, took place smoothly at Monas in Central Jakarta on Saturday, 28 March 2026. PT Berdikari contributed to the success of the event.

The activity served as one of the efforts to help the public obtain staple needs amid the joy following the celebration of Idul Fitri, to maintain food price stability, and to strengthen the spirit of togetherness towards national food security.

Various cross-agency parties, such as the Ministry of State Secretariat, Ministry of Trade, Coordinating Ministry for Food, Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Food SOEs (ID Food), Bulog, and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, participated and collaborated for the event.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the activity became a moment to share happiness with the public.

“So, for one coupon of 500 thousand [rupiah], 300 thousand of it is in the form of basic foodstuffs, and 200 thousand can be exchanged for goods from SMEs,” said Teddy.

In the event, PT Berdikari supported the public’s food needs through the supply of quality chicken carcasses from the company’s RPHU as a source of animal protein. This aligns with the government’s programme for public welfare.

The public also obtained several staple items from Bulog and the ID Food Group, including rice, eggs, cooking oil, sugar, and sardines, thus helping to alleviate household needs.

PT Berdikari’s participation in this activity embodies the company’s commitment to providing quality food materials, especially those sourced from animal protein, to strengthen national food security, and to deliver ASUH food to the public while continuing to commit to helping maintain national food price stability.

General Manager of Corporate Secretary & Social Responsibility at PT Berdikari, AS. Hasbi Al-Islahi, conveyed that PT Berdikari’s presence in this activity was not just about providing 100,000 quality chicken packages.

“But also actively involved in helping with the organisation of this extraordinary event, from the palace to the people. We deployed employees to assist in serving the public from the beginning to the end of the activity. As a livestock SOE, we are also committed to supporting the fulfilment of quality animal protein sources to encourage increased protein consumption among the public,” explained Hasbi.
