"Superman" Motorcyclist Carrying Ice Bags Resurfaces in Bogor City Centre

A video of a motorcyclist carrying ice bags on Jalan Ir Juanda in Bogor City, West Java, has gone viral on social media. The rider, wearing a helmet, appears to levitate with feet off the ground and motorcycle, resembling ‘Superman’ as he navigates the road. In the video viewed on Wednesday (27 May 2026), the motorcyclist is seen turning while riding calmly. His stunt, deemed dangerous for himself and other road users, has raised concerns. Bogor City Traffic Police Unit Chief AKP Saein confirmed the video is under review and urged compliance with traffic regulations. “Thank you for the information; we will take action. We advise adhering to traffic rules and not endangering oneself or others,” he said. Saein stated that offenders would face penalties ranging from warnings to handheld and manual ticketing. “A warning or advice, handheld ticketing, and manual ticketing (enforcement measures),” he added. A similar incident occurred previously on KH Abdullah Bin Nuh Street in West Bogor District, which was also considered dangerous for the rider and other road users.
