Superbank and OVO have collaborated to launch a digital unsecured loan product called Pinjaman Atur Sendiri (PAS), which offers customers flexibility in determining the loan amount, tenor, and due date according to their needs. Superbank Business Director Sukiwan stated that the way people access financial services is continually changing; they no longer just seek beneficial and trustworthy products, but also a simple and easily accessible experience through platforms that have become part of their daily lives. “The presence of Pinjaman Atur Sendiri in the OVO app is a step to expand the benefits of ecosystem collaboration, so that access to formal financing becomes easier, more relevant, and inclusive for millions of Indonesians,” he said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday. Digital financial services are increasingly becoming part of the daily activities of Indonesian society. The 2026 Internet Survey by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) shows that people utilise digital loan services not only to meet urgent needs, but also for daily necessities, to shop in instalments without a credit card, and because the application process is easy and fast. “This behavioural shift is driving public expectations for financing services that can be accessed practically through the apps they use every day,” Sukiwan said. He noted that this collaboration is a further step following the successful launch of OVO Nabung by Superbank, which had been used by more than 2.3 million users as of May 2026. The digital financing service continues to show positive results. As of May 2026, Superbank’s credit disbursement grew by more than 59 percent year-on-year (YoY), driven by increasingly close integration with the Grab and OVO ecosystems. Currently, more than 60 percent of Superbank customers are also Grab and OVO users, reflecting the growing adoption of financial services connected to digital platforms that have become part of people’s daily activities. OVO Head of Strategy, Integrated Marketing Communication Asep Haekal added that users increasingly desire a more practical digital financial experience within a single app. By accessing Pinjaman Atur Sendiri through the OVO app, users can transact, save, and access digital financing services more easily in one integrated experience.
