Superbank Expands Collaboration, Brings Direct Financing Access to OVO App
Superbank and OVO are expanding their ecosystem collaboration by introducing Pinjaman Atur Sendiri (PAS), a digital unsecured loan product from Superbank that provides customers with the flexibility to determine the loan amount, tenor, and due date according to their needs. Superbank Business Director Sukiwan stated that PAS can be accessed and applied for directly through the ‘Pinjaman’ menu on the main page of the OVO application, allowing users to obtain financing access easily, quickly, and comfortably. “This collaboration is a follow-up step after the successful launch of OVO Nabung by Superbank, which has been used by more than 2.3 million users as of May 2026,” Sukiwan said in a statement on Wednesday, 8 July 2026. Now, Superbank and OVO are again expanding their collaboration into digital financing services, so users can enjoy transaction, savings, and financing services within a single ecosystem. This ecosystem integration strategy continues to show positive results. As of May 2026, Superbank’s credit distribution grew by more than 59 percent year-on-year (yoy), driven by increasingly close integration with the Grab and OVO ecosystems. Currently, more than 60 percent of Superbank customers are also Grab and OVO users. This reflects the increasing adoption of financial services connected to digital platforms, which have become part of people’s daily activities. “The way people access financial services continues to change. They are no longer just looking for products that are useful and trustworthy, but also for a simple and easily accessible experience through platforms that are part of their daily lives,” he said. OVO Head of Strategy and Integrated Marketing Communication, Asep Haekal, said the presence of Pinjaman Atur Sendiri in the OVO application is a further step to expand the benefits of the ecosystem collaboration, making access to formal financing easier, more relevant, and inclusive for millions of Indonesians. “We see users increasingly wanting a more practical digital financial experience in one application. After OVO Nabung, users can now also access Pinjaman Atur Sendiri directly through the OVO application,” said Asep. “Together with Superbank, we continue to expand the benefits that users can enjoy, so they can transact, save, and access digital financing services more easily in one integrated experience,” he stated.
