Digital financial services are increasingly becoming part of daily activities for Indonesians. A 2026 survey by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) shows people are using digital loan services not only for urgent needs but also for everyday expenses, shopping in instalments without a credit card, and because of the easy and fast application process.

This shift in behaviour has driven expectations for financing services that can be accessed practically through everyday applications. Responding to this, Superbank and OVO have expanded their ecosystem collaboration by introducing Pinjaman Atur Sendiri (PAS), an unsecured digital loan product from Superbank that offers customers flexibility in determining the loan amount, tenor, and due date according to their needs.

PAS can now be accessed and applied for directly through the ‘Pinjaman’ menu on the OVO application’s main page, providing users with easy, fast, and convenient access to financing. This collaboration is a follow-up to the successful launch of OVO Nabung by Superbank, which had been used by more than 2.3 million users as of May 2026.

Currently, Superbank and OVO are expanding their collaboration into digital financing services, allowing users to enjoy transaction, savings, and financing services within a single ecosystem. This ecosystem integration strategy has yielded positive results, with Superbank’s credit disbursement growing by more than 59 percent year-on-year (YoY) as of May 2026, driven by tighter integration with the Grab and OVO ecosystems. Over 60 percent of Superbank customers are also Grab and OVO users, reflecting the high adoption of financial services connected to daily-use digital platforms.

Superbank’s Business Director, Sukiwan, stated that the way people access financial services is changing. They are not only looking for useful and trustworthy products but also a simple and accessible experience through platforms that are part of their daily lives. He noted that the presence of Pinjaman Atur Sendiri in the OVO application is a further step to expand the benefits of ecosystem collaboration, making access to formal financing easier, more relevant, and more inclusive for millions of Indonesians.

Asep Haekal, Head of Strategy and Integrated Marketing Communication at OVO, said that users increasingly want a more practical digital financial experience within a single application. Following OVO Nabung, users can now access Pinjaman Atur Sendiri directly through the OVO app. He added that together with Superbank, OVO continues to expand the benefits users can enjoy, allowing them to transact, save, and access digital financing services easily within one integrated experience.

The availability of Pinjaman Atur Sendiri on the OVO app marks the next step in the collaboration between Superbank and OVO to deliver more integrated financial services. Going forward, both companies will continue to innovate to provide solutions that make it easier for people to manage their financial needs, from transactions and savings to financing, in a simpler, safer, and more trustworthy experience.
