Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded food prices on Sunday at 10:10 WIB, with fresh broiler chicken commodities reaching Rp41,500 per kilogram (kg), while red bird’s eye chillies stood at Rp83,100 per kg. Based on data from PIHPS reported in Jakarta, other national retail trader-level food prices included shallots at Rp47,350 per kg and garlic at Rp40,200 per kg. Additionally, lower quality I rice was priced at Rp14,500 per kg, lower quality II rice at Rp14,550 per kg. Meanwhile, medium quality I rice was Rp16,050 per kg, and medium quality II rice Rp15,900 per kg. Then, super quality I rice was Rp17,300 per kg, and super quality II rice Rp16,850 per kg. Furthermore, PIHPS recorded large red chilli prices at Rp46,000 per kg, curly red chilli at Rp45,600 per kg, and green bird’s eye chilli at Rp52,950 per kg. Subsequently, quality I beef was Rp147,650 per kg, and quality II beef Rp139,950 per kg. The next commodities included premium white sugar at Rp20,150 per kg and local white sugar at Rp19,100 per kg. Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp20,100 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil I at Rp23,250 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil II at Rp22,350 per litre. In addition, PIHPS also recorded the price of broiler chicken eggs at Rp32,550 per kg.
