Sunday: Mobile Driving Licence Services Available at Two Jakarta Locations

Jakarta — The Directorate of Traffic of the Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters has opened mobile Driving Licence (SIM) service locations for residents wishing to process driving permit validity extensions, in Jakarta on Sunday.

Through the official X account of the TMC Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, it was announced that the service is open from 07:00 to 12:00 WIB.

The following are the service locations:

East Jakarta: Jalan Raden Intan Kalimalang, next to McDonald’s Duren Sawit

West Jakarta: Jalan Panjang next to Indomaret Kebon Jeruk

Documents that must be brought to the mobile SIM service include the original identity card and driving licence along with photocopies, an application form, and participation in a health test at the service counter.

This service only serves renewals for Class A and Class C driving licences that are still valid.

For driving licence holders whose validity has expired, they must submit an application for a new licence at the SIM Registration Centre on Daan Mogot, West Jakarta.

For renewal fees, in accordance with Government Regulation Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, the cost is Rp80,000 for Class A driving licence renewal and Rp75,000 for Class C licence renewal.
