Sundanese food promotion

JAKARTA (JP): If you love traditional food, then Hotel
Santika's food and culture promotion may be to your taste.

The hotel is organizing a two-day promotion of Sundanese food
for July 24 and July 25, where guests can enjoy dinner
comprising, among others, Asinan Bogor (sliced raw fruit and
vegetables in a sweet and sour dressing), Lalapan Sayur
(vegetable salads), Empal Daging Cirebon (Cirebon's fried beef),
Ayam Bakakak Cianjur (Cianjur Bakakak chicken) and Sundanese
desserts.

Apart from the food, traditional performances such as Tari
Merak (Peacock Dance) and Tari Jaipong (traditional dance from
West Java) will also be performed.

The hotel, which has already held a Betawi night, has plans
for similar events to promote the traditional delicacies and
cultures of other parts of the country, including Manado, Bali,
Yogyakarta, Semarang and Surabaya, where Santika also has hotels.
