Two Indonesian boxers, Sunan Agung Amoragam and Noldi Mahakane, secured victories at the Pattimura International Big Fight 2026 Amateur Professional Boxing Championship (Ampro).

Both fighters defeated their Thai opponents in the event held at Studio LPP TVRI, Jakarta, on Friday (29/5/2026).

In the prestigious Indonesia-Thailand boxing duel, Sunan Agung Amoragam delivered an impressive performance in the super bantamweight (55.3 kg) category.

He forced his opponent, Thailand’s national champion Nathha Phong Nuchap Hum, into a third-round TKO out of the scheduled eight rounds.

The victory earned Sunan the North Maluku Governor’s Cup, presented by Sherly Tjoanda Laos.

“I trained at HS Boxing Ciseeng with Kamanit, who is also a national team coach. I joined the Perbati national team trainees to prepare for this Pattimura International Big Fight,” Sunan said in a statement on Saturday (30/5/2026).

Regarding future competitions, Sunan left all decisions to his manager Alando, who is also the Chairman of Perbati Jakarta.

“I’ll just follow along,” he said briefly.

Hengky Silatang, owner of HS Boxing Camp and Perbati’s Secretary General, thanked promoter Nikolas Johan Kilikily for giving Sunan the opportunity to compete.

Noldy, a former PABA and WBC Asia champion, secured a unanimous points victory over Phirawat Panthong after a gruelling battle.

Promoter Nikolas Johan Kilikily pledged to organise a championship for the PABA or IBO title, planned for August next year.

“This is a very short timeframe—I was only given two months to prepare this event as promoter,” Niko said.

Meanwhile, Maluku Governor Hendrik Lewerissa praised the event and expressed hope it would produce a new Ellyas Pical.
