Summarecon Mutiara Makassar to Host Great World Circus 2 On Ice in 2026

Summarecon Mutiara Makassar is once again hosting the spectacular international show ‘Great World Circus 2 On Ice (GWC 2026)’, held at the Summarecon Mutiara Makassar Convention Center (SMCC) from 19 June to 5 July 2026. Executive Director of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk, Indra W. Antono, stated that after successfully attracting nearly 37,000 spectators during its inaugural run last year, this year’s Great World Circus returns with a fresher concept. ‘Blending world-class acrobatic acts with a winter wonderland experience, specially designed to fill the school holiday period through the #NewHolidayNewVibe theme,’ Indra said in a statement on Friday, 19 June 2026. The return of the Great World Circus is part of Summarecon Mutiara Makassar’s efforts to present more national and international-scale activities, whilst strengthening Makassar’s appeal as a destination for entertainment, tourism, and lifestyle in Eastern Indonesia. This major family event is a collaboration between Vietarra Group Entertainment and Summarecon Mutiara Makassar, featuring an international-standard show with performers from various countries, including Brazil, England, Ireland, Russia, and Ukraine. Indra explained that through Great World Circus 2 On Ice, Summarecon Mutiara Makassar aims to deliver a different and memorable school holiday experience for the people of Makassar and its surrounding areas. ‘As a developer of an Integrated Township, Summarecon is committed to presenting various international-scale activities that not only offer quality family entertainment but also enrich community activities and quality of life,’ Indra said.
