Summarecon Crown Gading is set to launch Emerald Commercial as the second commercial project within the Summarecon Crown Gading integrated precinct in the Jakarta north-eastern corridor. Executive Director of Summarecon, Magdalena Juliati, said the Emerald Commercial development is part of the company’s strategy to build the integrated area progressively. ‘In Summarecon Crown Gading, occupying 437 hectares, we are applying the same approach through the All in One City development, delivering synergies between housing, commercial and a range of modern facilities such as malls, hotels, schools, hospitals and a transportation hub, so the area can grow incrementally and deliver growing value potential,’ Magdalena said on Thursday (21 May). According to Magdalena, Summarecon’s experience in developing townships demonstrates the company’s ability to turn an area that was previously overlooked into a thriving city. Prior to Emerald Commercial, Summarecon Crown Gading had already introduced The Food Village as a culinary destination in the north-eastern Jakarta area. This area adopts a concept that blends modern and traditional tenants in an indoor space with an open-air ambience, and features live music every Saturday. Tenants already joining The Food Village include Solaria, Sai Ramen, Excelso, SS Premium Steak House, The Gym Evolution, Sudo Brew, Simetri Coffee Roasters and Cibiuk Resto. Emerald Commercial is designed as a commercial hub combining a row of shophouses with larger commercial lots. The concept is intended to accommodate businesses of various scales within a single integrated precinct. The project sits at the forefront of the development, at the main gate of Summarecon Crown Gading. The location is regarded as highly visible with increasing activity as the area grows. Summarecon notes that the Emerald Commercial market potential is supported by more than 100,000 residents in the Summarecon Crown Gading area and more than 400,000 surrounding customers. The area also lies in a region likely to become a meeting point for Bekasi Utara, Selatan, Timur and Barat. In terms of design, Emerald Commercial embraces a contemporary modern concept with buildings ranging from two to three storeys. It offers a sky terrace for cafes, lounges, or culinary venues, and a full-façade option for clinics, offices, showrooms, barber shops, laundries and modern retail. The building façades are planned with vertical lines, broad glass openings and an earthy-modern vibe. The area is also equipped with ample parking. Emerald Commercial is marketed from Rp1.7 billion. Summarecon Crown Gading is also preparing the Open for Business Incentive Programme to support tenants and business owners joining the commercial area.
