Sumedang Regent Dony Ahmad Munir Welcomes PT MBR Investment

Sumedang Regent Dony Ahmad Munir received a visit from PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk (MBR), led by Director Ari Sutanto, at the Regent’s Meeting Room in the Sumedang Government Centre (PPS) on Friday (19/06/2026). PT MBR is a subsidiary of Garudafood that markets nutritious products. The visit aimed to strengthen ties and introduce the company’s management to the Sumedang Regency Government, while also providing an update on the construction progress of PT MBR’s factory in Sumedang. “We are here to build relationships and introduce the management of PT Mulia Boga Raya. We also conveyed the progress of our factory construction in Sumedang and discussed the acceleration of permits currently being processed,” he said. Ari added that he also invited the Sumedang Regent to attend a Gathering Partnership event scheduled for 9 July 2026. He noted that his party appreciates the support from the Sumedang Regency Government, which has so far provided ease and assistance throughout the company’s investment process. “We see Sumedang as having enormous potential as a centre for industrial growth. Therefore, we hope the presence of PT MBR can make a real contribution to the regional economy, open job opportunities for the community, and build strong partnerships with various parties in Sumedang Regency,” he said. Meanwhile, Regent Dony welcomed and appreciated the company’s commitment to building good communication with the local government. “We welcome PT MBR’s investment in Sumedang. The Regional Government will continue to support the arrival of healthy and productive investment through fast and easy services,” said Dony. According to him, investment entering Sumedang Regency must be able to provide added value for the community through job creation, regional economic improvement, and the growth of partnerships with local business actors. “We hope the presence of PT MBR will not only bring industrial activity but also create broad benefits for the community,” he said.
