Sumedang Deputy Regent Denies Assaulting and Harassing His Personal Secretary: Slander!

Sumedang Deputy Regent Fajar Aldila has denied allegations of assault and sexual harassment against his personal secretary, identified by the initial R. Fajar said he is currently tracing the parties spreading the gossip and slander and is considering taking legal action.

“Facing this issue, I am not bothered, friends. Gossip that is not based on sources. Rather than being busy clarifying this and that, it is better to just work, focus on work, work, work,” he told reporters recently.

He said he would investigate the gossip and slander against him, whether it is politically motivated or otherwise. The Sumedang Deputy Regent reminded the public and media not to be taken in by narratives or opinion manipulation without clear sources.

“I want to investigate this accusation, what is its purpose and aim, whether political or otherwise. That is what is being looked into. I only remind the public not to be easily taken in by unclear narratives of opinion manipulation, especially when the source is unclear,” he said.
