Sumedang Civil Servants Return to Offices on First Day After Eid Holiday
The Sumedang Regency Government has opted to implement direct office work for civil servants (ASN) on the first day following the Eid holiday. The first day back at work began with a joint roll call on Wednesday (25/3).
The event was attended by all ASN from various regional work units and was led directly by Sumedang Regent Dony Ahmad Munir, accompanied by Deputy Regent M. Fajar Aldila.
Regent Dony stressed that this inaugural roll call is not merely a routine but an important momentum to strengthen unity and the work spirit among ASN.
“First, we are holding a joint roll call as well as a halal bihalal for ASN consolidation to restart work activities. This becomes a moment for mutual forgiveness, both verbally and from the heart,” he stated.
He invited all ASN not to abandon the positive values built during Ramadan. The Regent emphasised that the Ramadan spirit should be present throughout the year in life and work.
“I invite all ASN to work harder and more sincerely. Make honesty, discipline, mutual cooperation, and care a way of life,” he asserted firmly.
On this first day of work, the Regent along with the Deputy Regent also directly checked ASN attendance in the field. He ensured that all ranks immediately returned to work and provided the best services to the community.
“We are immediately ‘full throttle’ in running the government, implementing development, and serving the community. We must quickly move on after the long holiday,” he explained.
The Regent also emphasised that his side would impose sanctions on ASN who are absent without clear reasons. (SG/I-1)
