Sumatra to Papua: MIND ID Group Distributes 1,735 Sacrificial Animals for 2026 Eid al-Adha
MIND ID Group has distributed sacrificial animals across its operational regions throughout Indonesia during the 2026 Eid al-Adha period, demonstrating corporate compassion and commitment to community engagement. This year’s distribution includes 825 cattle and 748 goats sourced from MIND ID and its subsidiaries, including Antam, Bukit Asam, Freeport Indonesia, Inalum, Timah, and Vale Indonesia. The animals were delivered to 20 operational areas spanning North Sumatra to Central Papua.
Corporate Secretary Pria Utama stated that the annual Qurban initiative is not merely a routine event but a demonstration of the company’s responsibility to share with communities during this meaningful occasion. “We hope the sacrificial animals we distribute bring tangible benefits to communities within MIND ID’s operational regions,” he said in a statement dated Friday, 29 May 2026.
The distribution process involved local communities and micro and small business partners, ensuring social impact while boosting local economies. MIND ID employees actively participated alongside residents in the slaughter and distribution of meat. The company aims to strengthen community ties, build trust, and foster closer collaboration through such initiatives.
“Through this Qurban programme, we want communities to feel that MIND ID is present directly—not just as a mining company pursuing economic gains, but as part of the community, contributing meaningfully to social life,” Pria added.
