Sultra Governor's Eid Message: Strengthen Brotherhood for a Harmonious Life

Governor of Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra), Andi Sumangerukka, has invited all segments of society in the Land of the Anoa to make Eid al-Fitr 1447 H a momentum for strengthening the ties of brotherhood and solidarity.

In his statement, Andi emphasised that harmony is the main key in creating a conducive environment for regional development.

“Let us strengthen the bonds of communication and brotherhood, both among fellow Muslims, fellow residents of Sultra Province, and fellow children of the nation, for the realisation of a harmonious, peaceful life full of blessings,” said Andi in the received statement.

In addition to emphasising social-religious aspects, the Governor also invited all elements of regional development to renew the spirit of dedication. He encouraged active synergy in building the Land of the Anoa with sincerity of heart.

“Insya Allah, with sincere intentions and togetherness, we will realise an advanced, safe, prosperous, and religious Sultra Province,” he stated.

Furthermore, the Sultra Governor invited all communities to mutually forgive all mistakes, forget disputes, and cleanse the heart. The Eid al-Fitr momentum, according to him, must be interpreted as an opportunity to strengthen the determination to become a better person and a pious human being, for the sake of achieving salvation in this world and the hereafter.

“Happy Eid al-Fitr 1 Shawwal 1447 Hijriah/2026 CE. Minal ’aidin wal faizin, please forgive me physically and spiritually,” he expressed.
