The Sulawesi Barat Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) is working to maximise the use of the Regional Investment Potential Portal (PIR) as a promotional tool to boost investment. Represented by Associate Computer Expert M. Taufik, the office participated in a webinar on optimising the PIR portal, organised by the Directorate of Regional Potential Development at the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) on Wednesday, 15 July 2026. The webinar aimed to enhance local government understanding of using the PIR as an integrated investment promotion medium. Through the portal, regional governments are encouraged to present accurate, complete, and compelling investment potential data to attract investors. The participation of DPMPTSP Sulawesi Barat aligns with Governor Suhardi Duka’s vision of driving economic growth by increasing investment, developing regional strengths, and creating a more competitive investment climate. During the session, participants received guidance on managing and optimising the PIR portal, strategies for compiling investment potential profiles, and utilising digital platforms to boost investment realisation across Indonesia. M. Taufik noted that the webinar provided new insights into optimising the presentation of Sulawesi Barat’s investment potential through digital platforms. He stated that the PIR portal is a highly strategic tool for introducing the region’s investment opportunities to potential investors. ‘With quality data management and easily accessible information, we are optimistic that the region’s investment appeal will increase,’ he said. Through this participation, DPMPTSP Sulawesi Barat is committed to continuously improving the quality of its investment data and information to support increased investment realisation and sustainable economic growth in the province.
