Sukoharjo Regent Etik Suryani Spotted During KPK Sting Operation

Sukoharjo Regent Etik Suryani was caught in a sting operation (OTT) by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). She was seen leaving the Solo Police Station after her arrest, appearing hurried as she immediately boarded a bus waiting in front of the lobby.

According to information received, Etik had been undergoing questioning since Thursday evening at around 21.00 WIB. The examination took place on the second floor of the Solo Police Station.

Based on observations, at 04.20 WIB, a number of officers were seen carrying six green suitcases to the examination room on the second floor. Several black Avanza cars were parked in front of the lobby, and a number of people were seen entering and exiting the police station.

Etik Suryani emerged from the lift at around 05.41 WIB. She was dressed entirely in black and white, wearing jeans and a mask.

The KPK confirmed the sting operation, stating that it was conducted in connection with an alleged extortion case involving regional officials in Sukoharjo.
