Sukoharjo Regent Etik Suryani Detained by KPK

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) detained Sukoharjo Regent Etik Suryani at the State Detention Centre early on Saturday (11/7). Etik is being processed legally over an alleged extortion case within the Sukoharjo Regency Government. Based on observations at the KPK’s Red and White Building, Etik was escorted to a detention vehicle at 02.39 WIB after undergoing intensive questioning. In addition to Etik, the KPK also detained two other suspects, Richard Tri Handoko and Tri Mulyo, who are civil servants within the Sukoharjo Regency Government.
