Sugiono Reveals Reason for Prabowo's Paris Visit: Macron Invited Twice

Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono explained that President Prabowo Subianto’s state visit to Paris, France, was in response to an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron, which had previously been postponed. Macron initially requested the visit last month, but the schedules of both leaders did not align. During their meeting in Paris, Macron reiterated the invitation and proposed the current dates. Sugiono stated that President Prabowo accepted the invitation for the second time, making the visit a reciprocal gesture following Macron’s earlier trip to Indonesia.
