Currently, Sugiono said, the government has tasked the Indonesian Embassy in Lebanon with monitoring the condition of TNI soldiers there. The embassy is also preparing steps for the ritual washing and repatriation of Farizal’s body to the homeland.
Sugiono also requested that UNIFIL investigate the incident that led to Farizal Rhomadhon’s death. According to Sugiono, it is not yet clear the origin of the attack that killed Farizal and injured the three other TNI soldiers in Lebanon.
