Since taking up residence in Green Garden, we have paid our
water and electricity bills through a collector. This method
helped us greatly, as it kept us free of payment errors and
delayed payments.

Our collector recently told us a collector from the water
company would now be delivering bills. At the time we thought
this understandable. However, we have found the changed
circumstances most disagreeable as our bills do not arrive on
time. This is a great inconvenience to us as we are busy people.
Even if bills are delivered on time, and payment made at the
nearest post office, it would still be more difficult than the
original system.

Not to mention bills arriving late because the new bill
deliverer failed to find us at home (our house is often empty
after midday). We are then unable to make payments without
showing a bill and delayed payments are susceptible to fines.

We have to find undelivered bills ourselves at the water
company, which is time consuming. This happened to us several
times when bills went undelivered. At the counter we were told
the bills could not be found.

We suggest the old collecting system be restored. This would
assist both residents of Green Garden and the water company, as
their collector would not have to deliver bills and delayed
payments would be a thing of the past.
