Sudewo Expresses Longing for Pati Residents After KPK Examination: Hope They Are All Well

The KPK examined inactive Pati Regent Sudewo. After the examination, Sudewo expressed his longing for the residents of Pati. “Greetings, greetings to the residents of Pati Regency. I miss Pati Regency,” Sudewo said at the KPK building in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Thursday (16/4/2026). Sudewo hoped that conditions in Pati Regency were good. He stated that he was healthy before proceeding to the KPK detention vehicle. “I hope everything is well, the development is progressing smoothly. Here, I am healthy, alhamdulillah. Let’s pray for each other,” he said. The KPK itself has designated Sudewo as a suspect in the extortion of prospective village officials in Pati. Four individuals have been named as suspects, including Sudewo. The KPK suspects Sudewo of setting fees of Rp 125-150 million for prospective village officials. These fees were then increased by his subordinates to Rp 165-225 million for each prospective village official. The KPK seized a total of Rp 2.6 billion related to this case. Sudewo also formed a team named ‘Tim 8’. The team consisted of Sudewo’s success team.
