Sudden Disappearance of Subsidised Fuel Barcode? Here's How to Re-register
JAKARTA – Several consumers have complained about the sudden disappearance or inability to use their subsidised fuel (BBM) barcodes. In response, Pertamina Patra Niaga has assured users that they can still re-register or verify their data through the MyPertamina system. Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth Dumatubun, explained that the loss of barcodes could occur due to data update processes in the system. Additionally, routine data maintenance is conducted to ensure the validity of subsidised fuel users. “Moreover, there is data maintenance at the beginning of the month for data verification,” he said. “Additionally, there is an addition of registrations from barcodes which affects system reliability; this has now been addressed and returned to normal,” stated Roberth. For consumers who believe they are eligible but have lost their barcode, Pertamina recommends immediately re-verifying.
