Sucor AM plays key role in Shariah investment industry development
The Shariah investment industry in Indonesia is still seen to have significant growth potential. This is reflected in data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) as of March 2026, showing that the number of Shariah securities investors reached four million, a 35.25% annual increase. In light of this development, Islamic Finance News (IFN), an international media platform focused on advancing the Shariah finance industry, held the IFN Forums 2026 on Wednesday, 20 May 2026. The forum, part of the Shariah Investment Week (SIW) series, brought together regulators, industry players, investors, and Shariah finance practitioners to discuss developments, opportunities, and challenges in driving the growth of Indonesia’s Shariah investment industry. PT Sucorinvest Asset Management (Sucor AM) participated as a main partner in the forum. This involvement is part of the company’s commitment to supporting the development of a more inclusive Shariah investment industry and enhancing public literacy and access to Shariah-based investment instruments. ‘The potential for the development of Indonesia’s Shariah investment industry remains substantial. Therefore, strengthening literacy, product innovation, and broader access are crucial factors in fostering more sustainable Shariah investor participation,’ said Sucor AM Director Fajrin Hermansyah in a written statement from Jakarta on Tuesday, 26 May 2026.
