Sucor AM Philanthropy Fund Reaches Rp 12.8 Billion to Support Education
Sucorinvest Asset Management (Sucor AM), together with the Titian Foundation, has celebrated the graduation of 31 scholarship recipients from the second generation of the Sucorinvest Anak Pintar (GEN SAP 2) programme, who have completed their senior high school or vocational school education. The programme is part of an effort to broaden access to education for children from underprivileged families. The graduation ceremony took place at the Titian Foundation Community Learning Centre in Pemenang, North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, on Sunday.
Education is a crucial foundation for building high-quality and competitive human resources. However, many children in various regions still face challenges in continuing their education, primarily due to limited access and economic conditions. Data from the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education records that around 3.9 million children in Indonesia are out of school, with 20.35 per cent of these cases attributed to economic factors. This situation underscores the importance of collaboration among various parties to expand educational access for the younger generation.
Through the Sucorinvest Anak Pintar (SAP) mutual fund programme, Sucor AM has supported scholarship recipients in completing their education. This year, the company celebrated the second cohort completing their studies, equipping them to pursue higher education or enter the workforce. Sucor AM Director Fajrin Hermansyah stated that the best investment is not only realised through asset management but also through investing in the quality of Indonesia’s human resources. He expressed the belief that every child deserves an equal opportunity to achieve their dreams and that the SAP mutual fund aims to provide sustainable support for them to complete their education and build a better future.
Since its launch, the Sucorinvest Anak Pintar mutual fund has combined potential investment growth with social impact. Through an integrated philanthropy feature, unit holders contribute to funding education and community empowerment programmes. As of June 2026, the philanthropic funds distributed through the SAP programme have exceeded Rp 12.8 billion, supporting various educational initiatives across Indonesia.
